We have a variety of formats available. Opus is the recommended format - it has high audio quality and full metadata for songs.

Default Streams

We occasionally play a music guessing game on Game That Tune Radio, where the metadata is blanked out. The following streams will have metadata blanked out when we're playing the game:

• Direct streams:
  • Opus, 256kbps Direct Stream
  • AAC, 320kbps Direct Stream
  • AAC, 128kbps Direct Stream
  • HE-AAC, 64kbps Direct Stream
• Playlist files:

You should be able to play these streams and playlists via VLC, mpv, or virtually any other media player.

Spoiler Streams

If you're not interested in playing the music guessing game, and just want to always know what song is playing - these streams will always have full metadata enabled:

Chat

Our chat is powered by IRC, you can connect with nearly any IRC client:

• If you haven't already, register for a chat account.
• Configure your IRC client to authenciate with your username and password via SASL.
• Connect your IRC client to gttradio.com:6697 (with SSL) and join #gttradio.
• Alternatively connect to gttradio.com:443 (also with SSL), in case port 6697 is blocked.
• We also run a web IRC interface at chat.gttradio.com.
